In October 2024, we had the privilege of welcoming the first participants of our pilot Leadership Program in France. Designed to propel disabled women into leadership positions, this initiative attracted 20 exceptional women from diverse backgrounds. Their commitment and determination embody our mission: to strengthen the leadership skills of disabled women and maximize their impact in social, economic, and political spheres.
A successful first step online
The program launched in a hybrid format, beginning with an online phase that allowed participants to access their first leadership training modules. This remote approach established a strong foundation while fostering a collective learning dynamic, accommodating geographical and logistical constraints.
A landmark seminar at Hôtel de Talleyrand
In December 2024, our program took on a new dimension with an intensive three-day seminar, launched in the prestigious setting of Hôtel de Talleyrand, a historic venue generously provided by our partner, the U.S. Embassy in France. This event marked a symbolic milestone for both our participants and the program, offering a transformative experience centered on learning, confidence-building, and collective empowerment.
The seminar provided a powerful space for exchanging insights on the challenges faced by disabled women and the solutions they are implementing to overcome them. Here are some testimonials from our participants:

This event also provided an opportunity for our first major donor to meet several of our participants, forging meaningful connections and strengthening the shared commitment to our mission.
An internationally scaled program
This first phase in France is just the beginning. In 2025, the program will expand to Europe and Africa, featuring similar seminars while integrating impact-driven projects aimed at fostering the economic empowerment of disabled women. Our ambition is to create local and international communities that support one another and drive social transformation on a global scale.
The projects we are developing go beyond training - they represent a genuine shift in mindsets and power structures. By equipping disabled women with the tools they need to succeed in leadership environments, we aim not only to transform their lives but also contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.
Towards new horizons
Our 2025 goals are ambitious but achievable:
✔ Expand our pilot program to Africa and Europe
✔ Measure the impact of our leadership program to refine and strengthen it
✔ Support the launch of AHADI Emerging Voices, our first community in France
This program embodies our vision for social inclusion and equal opportunity, providing disabled women with access to positions of power and decision-making across key sectors, from politics to entrepreneurship.
By 2030, our ambition is to empower 1,000 disabled women in their leadership journey and build a global community of 20,000 future leaders. We are excited to see this vision unfold in the coming years, to discover new women leaders, and to collaborate with organizations committed to this social transformation.
The road ahead is long, but with such determined participants and valuable support, we are confident that together, we will open new doors for a more inclusive future.
