Following the pandemic—a challenging time for healthcare professionals—Bébey felt the need to explore alternative ways of caregiving and turned to nutrition and agriculture.
Passionate about nature and ecology, she became involved in community agricultural projects in Africa aimed at improving access to healthy and sustainable food. Inspired by the African proverb “Djè lam i loo ndôndôg” (“Good eating is far better than pharmaceutical care”), she views sustainable agriculture as a key lever for preventing chronic diseases and enhancing food security.
Now an entrepreneur, Bébey contributes her expertise to the AHADI Foundation as a board member, aligning her career and values with the organization’s mission.
